Rehearsals fo the April 1 Easter Cantata begin this Wednesday, January 18 from 6:45 to 7:30pm. All singers are welcome.
The United Methodist Women will lead the residents of the Atlantic Shores Nursing Home in Millsboro in a song service this Thursday, January 19 at 9:30am. Helpers are needed to assist in turning pages. Call Shirley Loveland (436-2840).
The United Methodist Men will meet in Clendaile Hall this Thursday, January 19 for a fun filled evening that begis with dinner at 6:30pm. RSVP to your new president, Ron Nagers, at 436-6059.
At the same time, the United Methodist Women's Sunset Circle will gather in the Meeting Room to view the video "Bad Girls of the Bible" featuring Liz Curtis Higgs. All the ladies of the church are invited.
Sign up today to provide flowers for our worship services in 2012 in honor or in memory of a loved one. The cost is $20 per arrangement. The flower book is located on the wall in the narthex.
The Red Bird Mission Team wants to remind everyone that we are continuing to collect labels and pop tops which are then redeemed for cash that goes to support the folks at Red Bird. Ruth and Charlie Sheaffer have taken over supervision of the project. Direct your questions to them at 539-3269.
Those of you participating in the FEED Project are asked to empty your coin boxes sometime this month. Count what you've collected and write a check to SMBTS for the amount. Note your offering envelope number on your check and add the letters "SOSA". If you did not get a box, you can still write a check to this ministry. Remember, you are helping to feed hungry Americans.
